Nancy Krieger, MD

Dr. Nancy Krieger is the Global Head and Senior Vice President of Early Clinical Development of Altos Lab.

Nancy was previously Chief Medical Officer of Talaris Therapeutics, responsible for development activities investigating a novel allogeneic cell therapy to induce tolerance in organ transplantation and auto-immune disease. Prior to joining Talaris, she was Senior Global Program Clinical Head at Novartis. She has 20 years of global drug development experience spanning cellular therapy, biologics and small molecules, in diverse therapeutic areas including solid organ and stem cell transplantation, immunology/inflammation, rare disease, bone metabolism and chronic kidney and liver disease. Before industry, Nancy was a staff transplant surgeon at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she had an active practice in adult and pediatric liver transplantation as well as a basic science laboratory investigating lymphocyte trafficking in transplant tolerance. She completed her transplant fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, and general surgical residency at Stanford University, including a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship in Stanford’s immunology department. Nancy earned her MD at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
